President and Representative Director, Representative Director and Senior Managing Director, Launch of Custom Order Signs Vol. 1Mapping SignLumi LetterLumi Letter Ultra SlimLumi Letter TUBETaff Lite SignD-LetterCRYSTAL LETTERThank you for your continued patronage of Daikan products.International markets and economic activity are showing favorable signs of revival despite the continuing effects of the Covid pandemic. And new commercial products and ideas are being more widely sought after in Japan’s post-Covid markets. In this context, we have put together a new publication featuring our newest “Future Signs”, a line-up that portends a future of signs that expand the possibilities and roles of signage, coupled with our “Custom Order Sign vol.1” range of products refined and augmented from our existing products.Daikan was established in 1964, the year of the Tokyo Olympics, in its hometown of Osaka Kanbanmoji Seisakusyo Co. Ltd. We have been supported by our customers from a small-town sign manufacturer for 58 years. For 58 years, our customers have supported us to grow from a small-town sign manufacturer to a company with 282 employees, including those in Japan, Hong Kong and our Vietnam factory. Our operations have now expanded overseas and we have supplied products to 93 countries to date. Twenty-two years ago, we were the first in the industry to introduce ABS resin Taff Lite Sign (metal plated type) and D-Letter (painted type) signs, which have now replaced conventional metal and acrylic signs. At the time, Taff Lite Signs were treated as an alternative to metal signs and did not spread as widely as desired. However, the light-weight advantage of resin, rich variety of cuts, and the development of weather-resistance surface treatment finish treatments equal to metal, have seen Taff Lite grow into an indispensable item in the signage industry. In 2002, we launched our original LED built-in type letter sign, Lumi Letter into the market. The complex luminescence and ultra-fine profile expressed in Lumi Letter surpass past “impossibilities” and open pathways in illuminated signages. As a product that has continued to evolve over the past 20 years, Lumi Letter is a highly sought-after LED with a long history of loyal users. Our recently introduced “Mapping Sign" fuses signage and projection mapping, delivering a one-stop service that covers everything from video and music production to sign production and installation. We hope that you will continue to enjoy our ever-evolving products and look forward to your continued patronage.Yours Sincerely Osamu Jingi Takeshi Jingi And all employees of Daikan Group
