QWhat voltage is Lumi Letter series compatible with?

AThe Lumi Letter is primarily designed for 12V, but depending on the specific product, there are cases where it is designed for 24V.

QWhat is the maximum size available?

AWe recommend a maximum size of up to 900mm. However, the actual size may vary depending on the installation conditions and the shape of the sign. For more details, please feel free to contact us.

QWhat file format should be used for artwork?

QCan I choose the color temperture (LED illuminated color)?

QHow long does it take for production?

AThe duration of the production process can vary depending on specifications, quantity, and production period. However, typically it takes around 3 weeks.

QIs it possible to connect or disconnect the wiring?

AIt is generally acceptable to connect or disconnect the wiring to some extent without any issues. However, we recommended to use the product as it is whenever possible.

QAre there AC/DC power supplies for outdoor usage?

AThe AC/DC power supplies we offer are drip-proof types. If you decide to use them outdoors, please prepare an outdoor electrical box.

QCan the color temperature match other lightings at the same venue?

AWe can match your chosen color temperature as close as possible, but there may be cases that it looks slightly different to the eyes.

QCan the brightness be adjusted?

AIt can be adjusted with our dimming controller.

QIs it possible to apply light diffusing film to the luminous surface?

AYes, but please note that the film is not covered by the warranty.

QWhat is the minimum stroke width and thickness you can make?

AIt varies depending on the product type and the finish. Please refer to the according product pages.

QWhat kind of installation methods are there?

AUsing stud bolts is the basic method, but screw fixing is also possible by using Daikan Quick Release System.

QIs it possible to have hanging or freestanding hardware made as well?

AIt is possible upon discussion. Please send us your enquiry.

QCan your products meet non-combustible or fire retardant regulations?

AStandard Lumi Letter series does not meet the fire regulations, but we do produce Lumi Letter made of fire retardant materials, so please contact us for more information.

QHow can I do if an LED bulb burns out or malfunctions?

AFor malfunctions occurring outside the warranty period, we will provide assistance at a fee. During the warranty period, we will offer product replacement only, and pleease note that we do not cover any additional expenses.

QCan the brightness of Lumi Letter change automatically according to the time of day?

AWith the use of our motion memorizing controller, it is possible.

QCould you make Lumi Letter series with RGB light?

AIt is not possible with Lumi Letter series. However, Lumi Channel series and LED Metal Channel series that utilize LED modules, as well as DAIKAN LED Line that uses RGB tape light, are compatible and can be made with RGB light.

QAre you able to make light move on your sign?

AIt is possible with our motion memorizing device, please contact us.

QIs there a way to make cables less obvious when setting it up on glass?

ACables can become less obvious by using transparent-coated silver wiring and clear acrylic cover.

QI would like to relocate the currently installed sign. Can I request the installation templates and necessary tools again for reinstallment?

AIt is possible to send the installation templates and accessories. Since some items may involve a fee, please contact us.

QI see similar products from other manufacturers, are they the same as Daikan products?

AAlthough they look similar, the quality, performance, safety and durability will vary.

QCan I adjust the brightness of LED Channel series?

AIt can be adjusted with our dimming controller.

QIs it possible to match the color temperature of LED Channel series and Lumi Letter series?

AIt is feasible to get the color temperature closer. However, please understand that there would be differences to some extent due to variations in electrical components and specifications.

QIs it possible to be used at 200V?

AYes. Please provide instructions when placing the order.

QIs it possible to remove the transformer/LED driver?

ADue to our LEDs being designed for low voltage, a transformer (AC/DC power supply) is necessary.

QIs it possible to remove the drain holes for outdoor installation?

AFor outdoor installation, drain holes are necessary but there are methods provided for making them less visible. For more details, please feel free to contact us.

QWhat would be the minimum thickness for LED Channel Series?

AThis varies depending on different specifications. Please refer to the pages in our catalogue for more information.

QCan the illuminated color be changed?

AYou can choose from three colors in the white color range, approximately 7000K, 5000K, and 3000K.

QWhat is the maximum size for Lumi Light Panel suspended type?

AThe maximum sizes are H200×W2400, H250×W1600, and H300×W1200 (mm). However, the actual maximum size may vary depending on the aspect ratio and installation environment. For more details, please feel free to contact us.

QCan Lumi Light Panel Edge Free be manufactured with straight cut instead of round edge?

AIt is possible to manufacture Lumi Light Panel Edge Free with straight cut, but please note that it may result in darker edges.

QCan Light Guide Panel be cut into custom shapes?

ADepending on the shape, such as round or oval, it may be possible. Please contact us for further details.

QI would like to use it in the overseas but can it meet the electrical standards of different countries?

AWe can manufacture the product to meet the standards and voltage requirements of different countries. Please contact us for further details.

Letter Signs

QCan I choose the color tone of Taff Lite series other than the standard finish?

AIf you provide color samples or physical samples of the desired finish, we can produce Taff Lite series in customized colors. However, please note that we can only achieve a similar tone as the manufacturing method is different.

QIs it possible to make the edge in straight cut?

AIt is possible depending on the specifications. Please contact us for further inquiries.

QWhat is the difference between Taff Lite series and D-Letter series?

ATaff Lite series refers to items that have undergone plating on resin, while D-letter series refers to items that have been painted on resin.

QHow many years can Taff Lite series and D-Letter series last for if using outdoors?

AThe warranty periods for Taff Lite series and D-Letter series vary depending on the specifications and the environment. Typically, Taff Lite series has a warranty period of 1 year, while D-Letter series has a warranty period of 3 years.

QWhat is the difference between D-Letter series and Crystal Letter series?

AD-letter series is painted or printed on the surface of resin, while Crystal Letter series is painted or printed from the back of transparent acrylic.

QCan you do gradation painting?

ADepending on the gradation, it is possible to achieve through painting or UV direct print. However, please note that certain gradation patterns may not be achievable.

QWhat is the maximum angle achievable for bevel cut?

AThe standard maximum angle is 45 degrees, but it is possible to achieve an angle of up to 60 degrees depending on the thickness and size of the material.

QIs it possible to fix stud bolt on small letters?

AA stroke width of at least 4mm on the bottom surface is required.

QIs it possible to have thicknesses other than those listed in the catalogue?

AWe can produce thicknesses other than those below 30mm listed in the catalogue. However, additional processing fees will be charged.

QCan it be installed using only double-sided adhesive tape?

AAlthough it is a lightweight material, stud bolts may be necessary depending on factors such as size, weight, and the type of mounting surface.

QIs it possible to bend the cut out letters in order to install on curve wall surface?

AIt is possible to bend the letters but there may be cases where it cannot be processed depending on the thickness and the size of the curve radius.

QIs it possible to produce letters with a concrete-like finish?

AIt is possible to produce them using a painting technique called Material Paint. However, There are various finishes available for concrete, so please contact us for further discussion.

QHow long does it take for production?

AThe duration of the production process can vary depending on specifications, quantity, and production period. However, typically it takes around two weeks.

Mapping Sign

QIs the production of video content outsourced?

AWe produce the video content in-house. We offer a one-stop solution that includes content creation, equipment procurement, implementation, and adjustment.

QDoes the installation location need to be completely dark?

AWe recommend a brightness level of around 100-200 lux. This is generally equivalent to the brightness of "sunset on a clear day" or "a hotel lobby."

QAre there any other installation requirements to consider besides brightness?

APlease ensure that there are no devices (such as ventilation ducts, air conditioning units, automatic doors, or metal doors) around the installation location of the projector that could generate vibrations. Such vibrations can cause misalignment or displacement of the projected image.

QCan projected image be visible on a black wall?

AWhile it may not work well to project onto dark gray or black walls, it is not a must to project to a pure white wall. Projection onto walls with wood grain or stone texture is also possible, but it is preferable for the projection surface to be a matte finish. For more details, please feel free to contact us.

QCan mapping sign be installed outdoors?

AMapping sign is not suitable for outdoor installation.

QCan I use my existing projectors or prepare my own projector?

AIf the projector lacks sufficient brightness and keystone correction function, it may be difficult to use for mapping signs. If you provide us with the manufacturer and model number, we can assess its suitability for the purpose. Additionally, please note that designing a customized mounter (hanging bracket) to install the projector may incur additional costs.

QWhat is the production procedure for video content?

AYes, we can produce it with your provided video footage and audio sources, but this is subject to confirmation that there are no rights issues involved.

QIs it possible for secondary use of the delivered content?

AA secondary use licence fee will be charged. You may utilize the content within the scope defined in the "Content Creation Agreement."

QWhat is the minimum stroke width for etching sign?

AFor etched content, the stroke width is 0.2mm, and for raised letters, the stroke width is 0.4mm.

QI would like to achieve deeper etching. What is the maximum depth achievable?

AThe standard depth is approximately 0.2mm, but it is possible to achieve slightly deeper etching depending on the content.

QDo you handle casted sign?

AYes, we do.

QWhat file format should be used for artwork?

QCan I specify the paint color?

QCan you send it overseas directly?

AWe can send it overseas directly. We could provide shipment documents needed for exporting. Some countries have exceptions so please contact us.
