Expression technique
Various Appearance of Taff Lite Sign, D-Letter, and Crystal Letter
Logo design Reproduction Techniques
Brand Names, Symbol Marks of Corporate Logos, and Image Characters can be colorful or complex in design. Our high precision processing and application techniques used various types of cut letter signage will transform two-dimensional designs into detailed attentive three-dimensional work of art. Our diverse range of designs and gorgeous colors can be combined with UV direct printing to further expand the range of expression.
Pocket Machining with Inlay
Pocket machining is the process of cutting out a specified section of material at af fixed depth to create curved or geometric contours and designs. The pockets can be inlaid with different materials for a rich range of expression alongside reduced time and effort in installation.
Bevel Machining With Inlays
This is a machining technique in which materials of different thicknesses are cut in opposite directions at the same tapered (sloped) angle and fitted together without gaps. This creates three-dimensional steps on the surface for an impressive sign that will outshine regular flat surface prints.
Joint Machining
(Flush Surface Technique or Counterbored)
While tiny letters, which are difficult to produce with metal signs, can be easily produced with Taff Lite Sign and D-Letter. However, tiny parts run the risk of being lost or falling off. Our joint machining techniques solve such problems. For precise and enhanced reproducibility, Daikan recommends our counterbored machining. While joining sections are typically designed to be flush surface against another, our counterbored joining techniques intentionally creates gaps, by stepping the jointing sections to reproduce the logo.
V-Shaped Engraving
V-Shaped Engraving is “Yagenbori” used as an and engraving technique for wood or stone to create concave V-shaped lettering and designs. The V-shape shading allows us to accentuate letters and lines while achieving complex and highly intricate patterns using an engraving edge tool as fine as 0.1 mm.
Overlaying
The light-weight alternatives to metals (1/7 of stainless steel) can offer overlaying to be easily adhered with adhesives or double-sided adhesive tape. This technique dares to accentuate even the smallest parts and design intricacies, creating a three-dimensional effect that exudes elegance and grace.
The expression of a sign greatly depends on the processing method
A logo or trademark is a “symbolic” figure. The more particular you are about the processing method,
the more impressive the sign will become.

Color Clear Coating
This painting technique blends clear paint with paint formulated to specified colors, to create colors retaining translucency. Color clear coating can be applied to the metal-plated base of Taff Lite Sign, for a colorful tint that retains its metallic appearance.
UV Direct Print
UV direct print is an inkjet printing process that uses specialized inks which are cured by UV light (ultraviolet light). It dries quickly, and can print directly onto an object at high-resolutions of up to 1200 dpi. Both single and multiple color printing are available at same price.
-
Direct Print
Direct Print can be performed directly onto materials, including uneven surfaces, with full color expression and gradiation.
-
Translucent Print
Translucent direct print realizes a variety of color gradation not possible with color clear coating while maintaining a metallic appearance.
-
Translucent Print
This technique uses translucent ink to express intricate patterns with high resolution printing and three-dimensional textures.
-
Crystal Rear Side Print
Printing from the rear side of Crystal letter (*clear acrylic material) allows the light to penetrate through the signs, creating elegant shadows of light.
3D Engraving
By importing Illustrator gradations and Photoshop image artwork, we can auto-detect contrast and convert the artwork into 3D format. In this way we can truly recreate the realistic and delicate 3D expressions no less than the techniques of mastery sculptors.
Handmade is also our specialty
Our craftsmen can handcraft three-dimensional parts that are difficult to machine, or single piece items which may not be able to cost the initial fees. Please feel free to contact us for one-off productions.
