Metal Plating on Resin Surfaces

Although Taff Lite Sign is made of a resin, its butadiene component functions to generate conductivity, to be used as car emblems. This enables electroplating (metal plating) with a glossy, top-quality finish and excellent durability.

Excellent machinability and delicate processing

Taff Lite Sign, machined by NC routers, boasts unparalleled machining accuracy that allows the machining depth to be set in 0.01 mm increments from the material surface. It is excellent for V-Shaped Engraving, delicate designs, and processing of tiny parts, which are often not applicable to metal signs.

With ultra-fine cutting edges, Taff Lite Sign can express a range of complex patterns which are often not applicable to metal signs by delicate V-shaped Engraving.
Tiny letters, that would otherwise be separated, can be connected together with Bevel Cut. This greatly reduces time and effort in installation.
The tip of the bit is sharpened for parts as small as 0.1 mm. Taff Lite Sign enables the ultimate level of precision machining.

Lightweight for easy installation on glass

Having only one seventh the weight of a metal, Taff Lite Sign can be easily and safely installed on outdoor glasses with only double-sided adhesive tape. Optional decoration films offer an aesthetic and neat rear-view appearance. For general wall surfaces, using templates can greatly reduce work time.

Smooth Cut Surface

Cutting of metal letters represented by stainless steel are machined using laser cutting machines. With Taff Lite Sign, we employ sharpened NC router blades to express pristine smoothly cut surfaces that are not achievable with regular metals.

  • Stainless Steel Letter (Normal Finish)

    Cut surface with rough laser cutting marks. The finish is slightly worrisome for a sign installed at eye-level.
    Laser processing machines are expensive in terms of equipment costs, but also in terms of nitrogen gasses and other running costs.

  • Taff Lite Sign (Normal Finish)

    Even in its normal state, the cut surface is more beautiful than that of metal. The finish is adequate as an eye-level sign.
    NC router machines are highly productive, safe, and can reduce costs by 10% to 30% compared to metal.

  • Taff Lite Sign (Super Fine Polish)

    Hand-polished processing to the highest grade of luster. The supreme polished finish satisfies even our top high-end brands and customers.
    The cost is not inexpensive due to the polishing techniques used by our expert craftsmen. However, we promise a finish that is well worth the cost.
